The Team 

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Corporate and Labour Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team at Corporate Portugal. If you're passionate about guiding clients through their corporate and labour needs in Portugal, this is your chance to become a key player in a fast-growing firm.

What We Do
At Corporate Portugal, we specialize in assisting clients with the setup, management, and growth of their businesses in Portugal. Working in close collaboration with our Tax, Immigration, and Real Estate departments, we offer a wide range of services to ensure our clients succeed at every stage of their corporate journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice, planning, and execution for corporate operations (companies, associations, foundations).
  • Lead and handle client meetings, managing leads and contributing to the growth of the office and the department.
  • Support both companies and individual entrepreneurs throughout their corporate and labour journey in Portugal.
  • Organize, track, and maintain client cases and files, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
  • Manage relationships with third-party entities and coordinate necessary legal actions.
  • Carry out legal and administrative tasks related to the department’s operations.
  • Ensure compliance and alignment with regulations and internal policies.
  • Handle vehicle importation, labour issues, litigation, regulatory, trademark registration, and other related documentation.
  • Conduct feasibility research and provide insights into business operations.
  • Act as a trusted business partner for startups, assisting with company incorporation and necessary licensing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Solve day-to-day client queries and provide efficient solutions with an effective 1-day response timeline.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in corporate law, labour law, regulatory and related fields.
  • Strong ability to provide strategic legal guidance and support to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other departments.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.

  • A law degree in Portugal
  • Registered in a Portuguese Bar Association (it's a mandatory requirement for this role)
  • Previous experience with Corporate and Labour Law autonomously handling client cases from start to finish 1 to 3 years.
  • A collaborative, flexible, and positive can-do attitude - always willing to learn and help steer the team to work well together. Let’s get the job done!
  • Passion, energy, fast-driven and commitment
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (C1/C2). Additional languages are a plus
  • Excited and curious about digital tools, process automation and innovation
