Junior Web Developer – Internship with Potential Full-time Offer

We are looking for a student Web Developer to support the development and maintenance of a new web-based project. The role involves working on the initial setup, customization, and ongoing improvements of a modular web application, ensuring scalability, performance, and seamless integrations between different tools and platforms.In addition to core development tasks, this position requires working with APIs and automation tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency. The selected candidate will gain practical experience in a real-world development environment, with the possibility of long-term collaboration.
What You Will Be Doing
Development & Maintenance:- Implement and refine a scalable web application from its early stages.
- Work with modern web technologies to build, optimize, and maintain core features.
- Ensure the application is secure, modular, and easy to maintain.
Integrations & Workflow Automation:- Develop API-based connections between different tools and services.
- Work with automation platforms to streamline internal processes.
- Implement event-driven logic to improve efficiency.
Bug Fixing & Continuous Improvement:- Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Optimize backend queries and front-end performance.
- Collaborate on UI/UX improvements and user workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills:- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue).
- Understanding of databases (Supabase, SQL, NoSQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and serverless functions.
- Exposure to authentication and role-based access control.
- Some knowledge of automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic experience with Git and version control workflows.
Soft Skills & Mindset:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
👍🏼 Nice-to-Have (But Not Required)
- Experience with payment integrations and subscription models.
- Understanding of serverless and cloud-based architectures.
- Interest in scaling and optimizing web applications.
🤓 What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Start the day reviewing tasks and priorities in our internal system.
- Develop or refine features for an internal web tool, ensuring efficiency for legal professionals.
- Work on API integrations between platforms to automate processes.
- Implement simple workflow automations using Zapier to reduce manual work.
- Debug and optimize existing functionalities, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Participate in brief check-ins with the team, aligning on progress and next steps.
- Document key updates and improvements before wrapping up the day.
- Manage and optimize development databases, ensuring data consistency and performance.
